Acne Treatments That Work

30 March, 2010 (09:55) | Acne | By: Health news

There is a lot of information out there about skin care. You can’t turn on the television or your computer without seeing a nice long ad for one system or another. But do they really work and are there any other acne treatments that work?

The short answer to that is yes and yes…but it is a little more complicated than that.

These topical solutions treat the symptoms but not necessarily the root of problem skin.

For the best of acne treatments that work, you can’t beat the natural approach, not just for your face but in all areas of your health.

I have put together a free report with some quick and easy tips that you can download by clicking on the link in my resource box below.

You will bring your body into balance in 3 key areas:

  • Get ready for it….the dreaded “D” word…diet.
  • No, not a weight loss diet or a chocolate free diet but one loaded with nutrients. Does this make much difference in acne treatments that work? Absolutely…when you eat well, your body will work to its highest capacity, your skin will reflect that and so will the rest of your body.

  • Now I know this one will be a surprise…Exercise.
  • What? Exercise can help with clear skin? Yes it can. Believe it or not…it is one way to help your body become balanced and is one key to acne treatments that work. Getting your blood pumping on a daily basis helps your body to clear itself of toxins. Good circulation makes for great skin.

  • And finally…Natural supplements.
  • Many of the foods we eat have little nutritional value. Add in some extra processing and it is no wonder we may need to supplement with vitamins here and there.

The fact is you can slap expensive creams on your face to get clearer skin and they might work for awhile…

But for acne treatments that work it is best to take the natural cure approach.

Your skin will glow with health and you will feel great inside and out…

    isn’t that worth it?

The #1 way to cure your acne is by living a healthy lifestyle. This is the natural way of doing it. Your skin is begging for nutrition on a daily basis. If you want glowing, radiant skin, then you must consume beautifying foods every day of your life. But, not to worry. There are hundreds of delicious, satisfying foods that you currently eat as well as others that you have never heard of.

Eliminate Acne Aggravators From Your Diet

There are plenty of foods that are causing your acne. Dairy, wheat, gluten, soy, peanuts, refined grains, white flour, refined sugar and any food you are allergic too are all possibilities. Eating these foods cause hormonal imbalances, insulin spikes, digestion problems, toxic buildup, and more that all lead to acne.

    Make Sleep A Top Priority

Do you wake up tired and not excited to begin your day? If you said yes, then you are not getting enough adequate sleep on a nightly basis. Sleep plays a pivotal role in your skin complexion. I personally refuse to get less than 8 hours of sleep a night and I go to bed as close to my bedtime as possible.

    Exercise

Do something. If you currently do not exercise then start by taking a 20 minute daily walk every day. After a few weeks, start jogging. Continue to take baby steps and eventually you will love exercise. Exercise is essential for clear skin and overall health.

    Manage Stress & Create Happiness

Smiling often, engaging in laughter, meditating, being grateful every day, and living your life today as if you were already free from acne are just some of the many things you can do to effectively manage your stress and add happiness to your life. Doing this is absolutely crucial while on your holistic journey to clear skin. Thousands of people have acne due to stress alone.

    Sunshine

Vitamin D3 is the most important vitamin that our body needs to function properly. How do we get Vitamin D3? Our bodies make it from adequate sunlight. Stop avoiding the sun starting today and make it a goal to get around 10-15 minutes of direct sunshine every day if possible. This will have an effect on your skin.

    Fresh Air

We simply spend too much time in doors these days. On top of that, we breathe in polluted air that is filled with toxins. Many experts make it simple and say acne is a way of your body releasing toxins through your skin. I believe this 100% and it is why it is crucial that you get out of the city once in a while and experience the healing powers of nature via the ocean, lakes, mountains, hills, parks, forests, etc.

    Cleansing Your Face

I personally use jojoba oil on my face and it works brilliantly. It is simply a moisturizer, but it makes my skin feel smooth and gives it a nice shine. Aloe vera, coconut oil, tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice are 5 of my favorite natural topical treatments that will diminish the size of your pimples and whiteheads.

This may seem overwhelming. I am happy to tell you it is not. Have patience and take baby steps. Living a happy and healthy lifestyle is the trick to living your life acne free. Begin taking action today if you want smooth, radiant skin.

Acne is a national problem for many teens and adults. They are embarrassing and sometimes painful. Acne can also be very tedious and hard to cure. A lot of the chemicals used on the market are hard on the skin and leave it worse than it was before using the product.

A downfall of trying to rid the face of acne unnaturally is that you are introducing your body to foreign chemicals that may harm other parts of your body other than your face. There are no negative side effects from practicing natural methods that reduce and diminish acne.

As busy Americans, we need remedies we can count on will work and not make things worse. This is where natural cures come in. Natural cures are cures that do not include any types of chemicals and are mostly easy on the face. Sometimes these types of cures do not require you to go out and buy expensive items; you can use what you may already have around the house.

Natural cures include but are not limited to:

    • using mineral makeups
    • avacado facemasks
    • washing the face with warm water and fragrance-free soap
    • using face lotions that don’t contain fragrances
    • wearing little or no makeup
    • eating healthy foods and staying away from sugar
    • exercising to release toxins from the body

You can use one of these methods or use multiple methods all at the same time. To achieve a more acne-free face, using all methods would greatly increase those chances.

It takes patience to get the face that you want and deserve, so use these methods and you will see results!
